Shipment

Your package is in good hands! Who better than USPS to take care of your delicate package. With the largest variety in the US, there is no corner that has not been touched by them. They also send you a notification when your package is picked up so you can track it throughout its journey.

 

DELIVERY TIME:

All orders are shipped by 10 am each morning. Orders placed will be shipped the next business day. USPS delivery time = 3 to 10 business days. Depending on your location. (Regional areas and PO Boxes) If you need your package quickly, please choose (Priority) at checkout. Express mail orders placed before 12 noon will be shipped the same day.

 

AUTHORIZATION TO LEAVE AT THE DOOR:

All packages are marked with Authorization to be dropped off at the door. If you live in an apartment building or condo and would prefer your package NOT to be left at your door safely, please let us know by writing a note in the comments section at checkout, it will be automatically recorded on your label. We will send you the package with instructions so that it is not left alone and you can organize the collection at another time from the post office. Please note that you will need to deal directly with USPS.

 

DELIVERY ADDRESS:

 

Please make sure your address details are correct. If incorrect details are provided, we cannot guarantee the delivery of your package. Forwarding packages with an incorrect address will require you to pay for postage.

 

TRACKING DETAILS:

To ensure you receive your package tracking number, please be sure to provide your correct email address at checkout. ​ ​

 

EXCHANGE AND RETURN POLICY Change of mind or incorrect items selected:

If you change your mind or select the wrong products, we'll be happy to offer you a store credit or exchange for unopened and unused items, in accordance with the US Competition and Consumer Commission guidelines. Returned items must be in resalable condition, eg packaging intact and undamaged, unmarked with all components present. Trades will be accepted as long as the following are true: Please contact us by email desertshadowcustomerservice@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving the products. Please do not send returns unless you have contacted us first. Products must be returned within 15 days of purchase. Include a copy of your purchase receipt or order confirmation; this is sent to the email address you provided at checkout. Your exchanged items will be for the value of your original sales receipt less any additional costs such as shipping. Your exchanged items will be shipped 2 days after receiving the returned products and shipping amount. Items must be returned at the customer's expense with a new shipping label and tracking number. Do not RTS (return to sender) because the package may not reach us and we are not responsible for this. Items must be returned in resalable condition where they have not been opened, with all seals intact, packaging undamaged or unmarked, and with all components present. Please note that we do not offer refunds for shipping costs and do not cover shipping costs for exchanged goods. The shipping costs will be borne by the person who returns the merchandise.

 

Damaged goods: ​

If your item arrives damaged or the contents are broken, please email us a photograph within 5 days of receipt desertshadowcustomerservice@gmail.com

 

Wrong order: ​

If for any reason there is a problem with your order, missing or incorrect items, please email desertshadowcustomerservice@gmail.com as soon as possible with details. Include your order number, what you ordered, and what you received. ​

 

Missing items inside the hair color box: ​

If for any reason your box comes without a sachet of spice mix or is missing a glove, please contact us. All products are packed by hand, sometimes human error means that we may (although it is rare) lose one of those items. When this happens, it really is a genuine accident. Our procedures mean that we check packaging thoroughly and consistently, but sometimes things slip through the cracks. Contact us to organize the missing contents so that we can send them to you. Defective products: ​ In the rare event that you receive an item that you believe is defective, please contact us at desertshadowcustomerservice@gmail.com. All of our hair colors come complete with instructions. Be sure to read them in full and follow them for the best results.
